Hope has two beautiful daughters. Their names are Anger and Courage.
Anger at the way things are and Courage to make sure things don’t remain as they are.

Happy Monday! What course of action do you take when what you envision for yourself is at odds with others imagine for your life? What do you do when your dreams aren’t understood by your friends and family?
I prefer to be true to myself, even at the hazard of incurring the ridicule of others,
rather than to be false, and to incur my own abhorrence.
I cannot begin to understand how Frederick Douglass, a man who escaped slavery and became an avid abolitionist, came to this epiphany but it speaks to us all. We can all look back at the life of Frederick Douglass and be grateful for that he chose to be true to himself than concern himself with opinions of others.
