A Parisian Day

Louvre

Not having an entire day to devote to absorbing all of the imagery housed in the Louvre, we had to devise a plan that would ensure we both left the Louvre equally satisfied.  We knew the key to that plan was arriving as soon as the doors opened after satiating ourselves on a well-balanced breakfast bowl full of croissants.  Unknowingly, our early arrival allowed us to witness a breathtaking sunrise as the sun shone directly through the above ground glass structure that denotes one’s arrival at Paris’ greatest museum.  Once on the clock, we made the dash to the Mona Lisa before devoting our time in the Antiquites Egyptiennes exhibit.  This exhibit, which I unfortunately yet accurately have dubbed the  Nose/Lips/Accurate History Removal, was equally breathtaking and frustrating.

The Plant

I love restaurants that equally cater to meat eaters and vegans alike! We found one – The Plant – we really enjoy in San Francisco at Pier 3 that offered a wonderful view of the amazing Bay Bridge Lights Show.  With all of the friends and family who plan to travel through Chicago this summer, we need to find one here. Stat!

What’s your favorite restaurant that caters to meat and non-meat eaters?
