Robert Mondavi Fume Blanc

When asked red or white, 9 times out of 10 we’ll choose red.  Wine that is.  However, when gifted with a 2009 bottle of Robert Mondavi Fume Blanc we were pretty excited to taste since we are huge fans of Mondavi.  OMG!  Such deliciousness!!!   We chose to pair it with Jamaican curry chicken but thought it best to begin our tasting while we cooked.  You know, to make sure it wasn’t poisonous 🙂  The dry crispness proved perfect with and without food.  The lingering citrus flavor was like the perfect verse over a tight beat. Too far with my favorite movie quote?!?  My bad, but you get the point.  Off to stock up on more . . .
