Washington D.C.

A week ago, our nation paused to acknowledge the 11th anniversary of September 11th.  Much attention is directed to New York City during such remembrances, largely because all eyes and cameras were on the Twin Towers on that fateful day and most of the lives lost that day were in NYC.  However, we believe it’s equally important to remember how the events of that day also struck Washington D.C. and Pennsylvania.  Below are a few pictures we snapped during a relatively recent trip to our nation’s capital.  It was our first visit to the recently revealed Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial.
